LOCAL FOOD MARKETS OF MARMARÄ°S

Local markets are established almost everyday, but in different places of Marmaris. In these markets, it is possible to buy good quality, fresh and low-priced products grown in the villages of MuÄŸla and neighbour cities. These products are mostly consists of fruit and vegetables. Besides fruit and vegetables, you can also find milk and honey products, sage, thyme, and some other herbs as well.

The most common local products are orange and pomegranate. The garlic of Ula and almond of Datça are also favourites of food markets.

The days and locations of the markets are :

Thursday > It is set on the municipal market place in Kemeraltı Quarter, and is the largest market of Marmaris. On Sundays a smaller bazaar is also set in the same place. In addition to these two days there are also groceries and fish mongers in the building, which are everyday open.
Wednesday > Ä°çmeler Quarter
Saturday > Armutalan Quarter. It is set behind the former Kipa Supermarket (now it is Carrefour).

Sunday > Beldibi Quarter. One of the busiest markets.
